Brew a cuppa weed at Chinatown hotel’s cannabis workshop

Learn the arts of infusion, extraction, and consumption at “The New High Tea” later this month at a Chinatown hotel where weed enthusiasts will get their hands dirty brewing their own concoctions.

After hosting a workshop last month on identifying strains using their senses, a Chinatown boutique hotel this month will stage another cannabis-related workshop on making weed-infused tea. It will be held in both English and Thai.

After the workshop, the day continues with a Chinese-themed dinner with dim sum, crispy pork, crab curry and more infused with weed.

Sala Daeng-area cannabis store The Dispensary by Taratera will also supply all the green needs.

The New High Tea workshop is priced at THB930 per person, including a “goodie bag.” The Go Green Feast with Tea Party is THB3,000 per person, including one post-dinner cocktail. Tickets are available online.

The events are limited to people over 21 years old.

The workshop starts at 5pm on Sept. 24 at Asai Bangkok Chinatown. The hotel is located on Charoen Krung Road and reachable via MRT Wat Mangkon.
